Hi All
I'm Jonny Wild, the ASiT (Association of Surgeons in Training) Rep for South
Yorkshire - and also ASiT Honorary Secretary.
As you may well know, ASiT has alot to offer its medical student members -
including discounted (often free courses) just as the ASiT Foundation Skills in
Surgery Course, the ASiT Foundation Doctors course and Reseacrh Skills courses.
We also offer medical student / elective bursaries and many discounts on journal
subscriptions / books etc.
The Annual ASiT conference is also a fantastic opportunity to meet other medical
students and surgica trainees, learn about the latest about what is going on in
surgical training, and also an opportunity to present audits / research
projects.
We also have a Medical Student session at the conference which is especially
popular.
The next ASiT conference is to be held at City Hall, Cardiff on 23/23/25 March
2012.
