8th Annual National Surgical Conference

This conference is jointly organised by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Sheffield Students Surgical Society. The theme this year is ‘The Changing Culture of Surgery’.

The fee for non-members is £20 and £15 for members of the Sheffield Student Surgical Society and RCSEd Affiliates.

The conference will take place at the Medical Education Centre and Samuel Fox House, Northern General Hospital. You do not need to be presenting in order to attend. 

The day will consist of lectures from expert consultants from various specialties followed by research presentations and practical workshops. Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.

All delegates must book their place via the RCSEd website.

Abstract Submission : The deadline for submission is midnight on Thursday 10th January. The top abstracts will be shortlisted and a number of students and FYs will be selected to attend and present at the Conference.
